Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

There are many ways to serve and make a difference together at our church.
Whether you enjoy welcoming guests, helping behind the scenes, or working with children and students, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.
You can serve in weekly ministries such as greeting at the doors, helping with snacks and fellowship between services, or volunteering in our kids and youth ministries. Throughout the year, there are also special opportunities to serve during Vacation Bible School (typically the first week of June), we have a yearly dinner theater we put on to raise money for our youth group, other meals we do to serve our community with, our Faith In Action Sunday on Labor Day weekend, and through our monthly Sugar Valley ministry.
We also have a men’s service group that helps people in our church and community with yard work,
home projects, and other practical needs.

These are just a few of the ways we live out our faith and serve together as the body of Christ.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

The first step is to fill out the Sign up to serve found at the button above, then someone from our ministry staff will reach out to you within a week or so to talk about what that ministry looks like and get your information for a back ground check if serving in a children's ministry area.
We truly believe everyone has a place to serve and be part of what God is doing here. God has gifted each person uniquely, and we believe He has brought you here for a purpose.

What kind of people can serve?

We encourage everyone to take time to get connected and become part of our church family before jumping into serving. It can be easy to get involved too quickly and become overwhelmed, so we want you to have the opportunity to learn about our ministry areas and discover where your gifts and calling fit best.
For the safety of our children and students, a background check is required for anyone serving in ministries involving individuals under the age of 18.
